2018 Tasting Notes: This aged Oolong just keeps getting better and better. From the first sip to the last sip the consistency was astounding. Pleasant waves of light citrus with hints of sweet and spice combine with the perfect amount of roasting notes. A delightfully, deeply warming tea that featured a clean, full and fresh and vibrant mouthfeel. You can see the vibrancy of the leaf as it brews into a dark orange liquor through many infusions!
2014 Tasting Notes: This aged oolong has amazing endurance, complexity, and character but it is never offensively bold. The liquor brings an earthy, date flavour with hints of an old library full of leather bound books. Wonderfully subtle and layered, the mouthfeel comes in waves and this tea has a structure that lasts well into 7-10 infusions and remains amazing the whole time.
