Tie Guan Yin
I thoroughly enjoyed tasting this Tie Guan Yin. It started subtly with a warm, comfy roastiness that I love so much. Through successive infusions, the tea gradually opened up into a delightfully integrated, peony fragranced/roasty/malted grain, ray of liquid sunshine. The mouthfeel was always clean and refreshing. Don’t forget to smell the gaiwan lid while you enjoy this tea, it’s absolutely bursting with peony fragrance. We tasted the tea in the winter and it transported me instantly to a spring meadow full of freshly blooming peonies!
